GMC Futurliner
The GM Futurliner was a futuristic concept bus built by General Motors in the 1940s (and updated in the 1950s) for the “Parade of Progress,” a traveling exhibition that showcased technologies such as television and jet engines. Only 12 units were produced, featuring a 10-meter Art Deco design, a raised cabin, and side panels that opened like display cases. Today, they are design icons worth millions of dollars, with 9 units remaining.
And now, it receives a humble tribute by being reinterpreted in a new, updated concept.
